First 2 rounds are online and the last round will be in Mumbai, one day before the award ceremony.We have several participants from various countries & will have a recorded video presentation for those unable to travel for the last round in front of the judges so as to ensure fair chance to all selected participants. Award function is on 10th of oct 2016 and last round is one day before in Mumbai.

You can sing Thumri, Dadra and Raga based film songs.

You have to sing Pure Classical in a Pure Raga. Using Tanpura and Tabla is optional.

You can sing Ghazals and Bhajans

There will be several prizes given depending on performances and sponsors on board. Kindly refer Rules.

Renowned Gurus and performers and selected applicants for the event will be invited to perform. Nominated Top 10 Performers will also showcase their performance.

This is a First year for Whiz Classical and first time ever a Global Competition is been held online and offline on a large Platform.

1. It’s an Online Competition for Classical Dance, Vocal & Instruments, open to ages from 8 years and above from all over the World.
2. Whiz Classical - Competition for the BEST INDIAN CLASSICAL PERFORMER is designed to celebrate power of our rich cultural heritage by presenting the talent from our present generation.
3.Whiz Classical remains the pinnacle of achievement by providing a showcase of World’s best talent, and by inviting collaboration among individuals who are actively doing outstanding work.

The competition is to the BEST INDIAN CLASSICAL PERFORMER for
1. Classical Dance – It has 6 Forms of Dances
• Mohinyattam
• Kathak
• Odissi
• Manipuri
• Bharatnatyam
• Kuchipudi
2. Classical Instruments – It has 3 Instruments
• Flute
• Tabla
• Sitar
3. Classical Vocal – It has No different types of forms but have to be performed as per categories of age levels

Qualifying Participants –
• Level 1 – 8 years to 12 years
• Level 2 – 12 years to 18 years
• Level 3 – 19 years to 30 years
• Level 4 – 31 years to 40 years
• Level 5 – 41 years to 60 years (Only Instrumental and Vocal)
(All the ages as on 1st January 2016)

ENTRY INSTRUCTIONS - PLEASE NOTE while SUBMISSIONS for ALL ENTRIES
• Entry Title – Give the details of your performance. Mention your name in the beginning of the video of your entry appropriately.
• Contact Details – Who can we contact about this specific entry? Please mention these details at the end of the entry video.
• References – Any references taken from anywhere. Please mention these details at the end of the entry video.
SUBMISSION MEDIA - Files for Upload
• You must upload performance videos for all entries. This process will be required during the online submission of your test.
• Video Entries will only be accepted through online upload. DVD’s will not be accepted.
• They can be uploaded in .mov or .mp4 formats.

Selection & Point System – Performances will be evaluated on the following elements –
• Technique – 20 points total
• Expression / Showmanship / Bhava - 20 points total
• Execution of Performance - 20 points total
• Overall Performance – 20 points total
• Costume / Rhythm - 20 points total
There is Maximum of 100 Points per Judge

Liking a performance video is an integral part of Whiz Classical - 2016. This helps performer to showcase & present their talent to millions of people around the world.
Maximum likes per Performances will be considered for Public Voting Award - Most Voted Whiz Classical title.
Performance video Likes received on www.WhizClassical.com, Facebook, YouTube or any other media will be considered.

1. Prizes awarded cannot be transferred, redeemed for cash or exchanged for any other prize.
2. For prizes the winners must be available to collect them during the award ceremony in Mumbai.
3. Where the winner is not present during the award ceremony to collect the prize, the governing body reserves the right to confiscate the same.
4. Where the winner is disqualified for any reason, the governing body in its sole discretion reserves the right to determine an alternate winner or not award the prize to anyone.

The performances will be strictly based on Indian Classical Dance, Indian Classical Instruments, Indian Classical Vocal as mentioned in the Rules & Regulations

1. Top Score Method: Normally, the participant with the top score the one with the highest score will be awarded as the winner.
2. Judges may include additional/alternative test methods other than pre-decided Whiz Classical - Competition for the BEST INDIAN CLASSICAL PERFORMER at any or all levels.
3. Whiz Classical Directors at its own discretion reserves all rights to modify the selection methods any time.
4. To ensure wider participation, Whiz Classical reserves an absolute and undisputable right to restrict the number of entries per School or individuals in the world.
5. NO enquiries or petitions in this regards will be entertained
6. The top 3 scorers in each category shall be declared as winner of Whiz Classical 2016.
7. The results of the final round shall be declared as per the schedule given.
8. In case of a tie/ equal scores, there is an independent review committee for this initiative who will decide the winners based on their responses in the submissions

1. Yes, all the participants who complete the first round and submit their videos for the Audition Process will get a Certificate of Participation.
2. The certificates can be downloaded and stored/saved on the computer.
3. They can be printed then and there.
4. Kindly note once the application is closed the user will not be able to download the certificate later.

It is open to all the age groups from 8 years and above

1. Mega Award Show of Whiz Classical will be held in Mumbai on 10th October 2016
2. The Finalists & Winners from each Level & Winners from Public Voting & other Winners will be invite to participate in the Grand Award Show in Mumbai
3. Where the winner is not present during the award ceremony to collect the prize, the governing body reserves the right to confiscate the same.
4. An adult can accompany the Winners
5. The Winners and one Adult will not have to pay for the tickets for the Grand Award Show
